You would remember if you did.
Akos is the visionary founder of Orobaa of Africa.
Akos began her life in her home, Ghana, where she lived with her 18 siblings (for real!) and her proud father Odi Asem Pa who was known as the 'Wise Man' by his community.
He had a generous heart and took the time to share wisdom with those around him. Akos once said to me: 'My father loved us all equally!" but his clone, the one who fed on his knowledge about the earth, sustainability and that nature ALWAYS provides, was Akos.
These are the roots that led to Orobaa of Africa.
Drawing on the rich traditions and natural resources of her homeland, she incorporates key ingredients like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, and African Black Soap into her formulations. These ingredients are renowned for their nourishing, healing, and beautifying properties.
With a deep passion for skin and hair care, as well as a desire to share the benefits of traditional African ingredients, she started her journey with just two products.
Today, she has expanded the brand to offer a diverse range of over 40 products, all lovingly made in Hillcrest, South Africa.
