WHY CHOOSE ME? The shea industry is centred on women; more than 16 million rural women in Africa contribute to their household incomes by collecting and processing shea kernels. They collect and process shea in villages and have used shea butter for hundreds of years, to hydrate and nourish the skin as well as to relieve inflammation, irritation, dryness, wrinkles and blemishes. They often cover their babies in shea butter from head to toe to protect their baby’s skin from the harsh climate of the Sahel.
The name “Orobaa” translates as “Women’s Gold” signifying hand-crafted shea butter that is exclusively produced by the women living in the shea belt of Africa.
All Orobaa’s natural products are lovingly handcrafted using, as far as possible, ingredients from Africa. With natural ingredients, you may occasionally notice slight variances when comparing to our product pictures.
HOW TO USE ME: After showering or bathing, dry with a towel and then massage shea butter into the skin and/or scalp to lock in moisture and keep skin hydrated all day. To use as a deep moisturiser:- cover your body from head to toe with shea butter and stay under a warm shower for about 5 mins. Gently towel dry and you’re ready to go.
Please Note: We continually strive to offer the best product and, from time to time upgrade our formulation accordingly – as a result, a few ingredients on the label may differ from this latest ingredient list. Please check that you are not allergic or skin sensitive to any of the ingredients – a few of the oils and butters we use come from nuts and we use essential oils. If you experience any sensitivity or redness, discontinue use immediately. Our products are free from any harmful synthetics.
