Orobaa aims to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours after the receipt of payment. Orders, where payment is received after 1:00 pm on a Friday, will be dispatched on the following Monday.
We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.
Collection from the Orobaa outlet in Hillcrest is free of charge! Located at Shop 4c, Hillcrest Shopping Centre, 38/42 Old Main Road, Hillcrest 3610, KZN. Tel: 076 407 2320. It is open from 0800-16.00 hrs on weekdays and 0900 to 1300 hrs on Saturdays.
Deliveries within South Africa
Orobaa dispatches all orders unless otherwise stated within one working day of receiving payment confirmation. If you pay via credit card we receive payment confirmation automatically as soon as you’ve paid. If you pay via EFT or bank deposit, your order will only be dispatched within 24 hours of your payment clearing. When we receive your order it is processed and shipped within 24 hours (on weekdays). Orders are only shipped on weekdays.
Products are shipped from Durban, South Africa. Orders are dispatched within 1-2 working days unless otherwise notified. Orders take up to 3 or 4 working days to arrive from date of receiving the order. From time to time Orobaa may offer special promotions involving free deliveries on smaller orders – please check orobaa.africa for details.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. There are 2 methods of delivery of your order:
- DOOR-TO-DOOR delivery using a courier (Courier Guy) for a flat cost of R99 to anywhere in South Africa for packages up to 2kg. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. Durban Customers: Customers located in Duran area (Durban, N2 North to Richards Bay; N2 South to Port Shepstone and N3 to Pietermaritzburg) will enjoy a flat rate door-to-door delivery cost of R60 for packages up to 2kg. For purchases over 2kg, customers are asked to use Postnet to Postnet below.
To receive “door-to-door” delivery someone needs to sign for receipt at our nominated address between Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Anyone at the delivery address can accept the delivery. For us to prove that delivery of an order has been completed, we do not have to prove that you personally received the goods, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery. There are no deliveries on weekends or public holidays. Normal delivery time is 2-5 working days, but to outlying locations such as distant farms and mines and remote areas delivery may take up to 7 working days.
Unforeseen circumstances e.g. adverse weather, closed roads, strikes etc. may result in “late” deliveries – this is rare, but it does happen and please note that “late” delivery is not a ground for refund or cancellation of the order. If your delivery has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.
- POSTNET-TO-POSTNET delivery is ideal for those who are unable to receive (and sign for) door-to-door delivery during office hours. When your order arrives at your nearest PostNet location (there are over 370 across South Africa) you will receive an SMS advising you can collect from PostNet, at your convenience. PostNet is R99 anywhere in South Africa for orders up to 5Kg – above that please contact email@example.com. Delivery is normally 3-4 working days and for locations in remote areas may take 5-7 working days.

Deliveries outside South Africa
No orders outside the South African borders are accepted on the Orobaa website. Please contact us on email@example.com or Tel: 076 407 2320 if you require an order to be delivered outside South Africa where we can arrange a quote by courier and payment by bank transfer. Please note import duties may be applicable according to individual countries’ import policies and such costs are not included in our delivery quotes.
Orobaa strives to select and package all products as best as possible to ensure they arrive in good condition. However, if a product arrives damaged or with defects or is not what you ordered you are welcome to return any such product(s) purchased within 7 days of receiving the item. Unfortunately, we can only accept goods for return that are still in their original unopened packaging. In such cases Orobaa will refund the cost of the product and refund the cost of the return courier / shipping cost on the condition that a Proof of Purchase (e.g. a receipt) and a Proof of Cost (e.g. return courier invoice) is sent to Orobaa in person, with the return courier or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
